Source :Wikipedia When Siraj-ud-daula came to power in Bengal the Britishers were worried about his position because he was a strict ruler. He was seeing it clearly that the British east India company is not paying the levied taxes and charges completely to them. Siraj-ud-daula also sent warnings to the company about this. As a result, there were a lot of conflicts running constantly at the same time since long. Britishers were not happy with the nawab of Bengal.                                       Source: Wikipedia Due to these conflicts the British east India company wanted the r uler of Bengal as a puppet rural for them. Hello readers, happy to see you back here again. I hope you have read my previous blog which was on 1st  battle of Panipat which took place in 1526. Now covering that series I will try to explain about next battle which is the battle of khanwa that took place on March 17, 1527. these battles could be considered as a turning point in the history of India because they put a mark for the establishment of Mughal rule in India. If these events could not have been taken place then the history of India would have been different. there would not have been any taj mahal, laal Kila, bibi ka maqbara, and many other tombs. But we have to focus on what happened with the help of sources available.  The battle of khanwa was fought between Babur, the 1st mughal emperor and Rana sangha who had defeated Ibrahim Lodi long ago. Beyond any doubt, Babur was the winner of this battle and there were a lot of mistakes done by the great Rana Sangha due to which he got defeated by Babur.              Source: Wik

Greetings, glad to have you back here. As in my previous Blog, we have seen how the course of fighting of tarain happened and how it opened the doors for Muslim invasion in India. He saw Hindustan as an alternative option to rule and spread.  Source: Wikipedia Map of India in 1525.   Also, the income of Babur from the province of Kabul was very low and limited so he was not in a position to meet even his administrative costs constructively. He was facing trouble in giving remittance to his agents and soldiers. At the same time, there were many provinces in Kabul, in which the expenses surpassed the income of that particular state. Therefore, Babur had greedy thoughts to take control or conquer the fertile and rich provinces of India like that of Punjab to meet his own exp

Second battle of Tarain

Welcome back readers to my second blog which is in continuation of my first blog about the battle of tarain. The second battle of tarain took place just a year after the first battle of tarain in the year 1192. In my previous blog, we learned how the ignition for battle took place by the first move of Mohammad Ghori, and due to his overconfidence and weak army, he lost against the Chauhan. Now the second battle was inevitable as Ghori wanted the north Indian territory for expansion.  A few months before the second battle of tarain the Chauhan empire had spread its boundaries and took control over tomars, candelas, paramars, and gurjara-pratiharas. The chauhans also annexed back their fort of bathinda which was taken by the ghurids during 1191. Also the king Prithviraj chauhan was farsighted so he tried many times to form an alliance with jai chandra who was the king of gahadavala empire so that they could together defeat the ghurid empire but no response and support came from them.
